Sri Sakthi Social Economical and Educational Welfare Trust, a registered body under the Indian Trust Act, 1882, was established on 21-12-2001 and has obtained clearance under FCRA, as well as exemptions under 12AA, 80G, Income Tax Act. Working in Dindigul, Theni, and Madurai Districts in Tamil Nadu since 2001, Sri Sakthi Trust has been focusing on:
Youth welfare programs: Conducting vocational trainings, women development programs, entrepreneurial development programs, skill development programs, and skill upgradation training programs in collaboration with government institutions, NABARD, education institutions, and our own training institution.
Women Development and Youth Welfare Activities: Benefitting around 2,00,000 women and youth in Dindigul, Madurai, Karur and Theni Districts through training and livelihood activities provided by Sri Sakthi Trust in collaboration with various government departments.
Women empowerment: Promoting Self-Help Groups (SHGs) and providing livelihood training such as Aari and Embroidery Training to SHG members under the Livelihood Enterprise Development Project (LEDP) supported by NABARD, as well as offering the same training program to school dropout female children under the Social Welfare Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
Agricultural promotional activities: Conducting farmers training programs, soil and water conservation activities with the guidance of the Tamil Nadu Watershed Development Agency and National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development.
Watershed and Climate Proofing Programs: Successfully completing three watershed programs (two in Madurai District and one in Dindigul District) and one Climate Proofing Project under the Adaptation Fund Board in Ayyampalayam, Dindigul District, covering a total area of around 6000 ha with 10,000 direct and indirect farmer beneficiaries.

Internships for College Students:
Providing internships to various students to gain knowledge about livelihood development activities and entrepreneurship development programs. Through the above-mentioned farming, off-farming, and livelihood development training programs, we have trained nearly 3200 farmers, women SHG participants, and youth in the Dindigul, Theni, and Madurai districts.
Expertise as an artist:
She is an expert in Indian tribal art, and as it’s a significant art culture of India, she strive to spread it as much as possible through training sessions, particularly for women. The training program not only develops the art culture but also enhances the skills of village women, helping them improve their livelihood. So far, she has trained nearly 560 students since the Post-COVID pandemic days, and most of these women have turned this skill into a means of financial support.
