Sri Sakthi Trust, under the steadfast guidance of our Managing Trustee Dr. S. P. Jothi, has been actively involved in advocating for the grievances mechanism and legal rights of women and children since the inception of our organization.

Lok Adalat Committee: 

Our esteemed Managing Trustee, Dr. S. P. Jothi, has played an integral role in promoting alternative dispute resolution through her involvement in the Lok Adalat committee at District Munsif Judicial Nilakottai. Lok Adalat serves as a forum where pending disputes and cases, whether in the court of law or at the pre-litigation stage, are resolved amicably through compromise. Driven by a commitment to justice and effective resolution, Dr. S. P. Jothi dedicated three years to this esteemed committee, contributing her expertise and efforts to the cause of fair and efficient dispute redressal.

LCC in Social Welfare Department- Dindigul: 

Our respected Managing Trustee, Dr. S. P. Jothi, holds the position of a dedicated member of the Local Complaints Committee. This committee operates under the Tamil Nadu Social Welfare Department in the Dindigul District. Through her involvement in the committee, Dr. Jothi actively participates in addressing complaints related to various social issues, ensuring the well-being and protection of individuals within the district. Her invaluable contribution to the Local Complaints Committee reflects her deep commitment to social justice, empowerment, and the promotion of a safe and inclusive community for all.

Child Welfare Committee : 

Dr. S. P. Jothi, our esteemed Managing Trustee, also serves as a dedicated member of the Child Welfare Committee. This committee plays a crucial role in addressing the pressing issues faced by sexually abused girls, victims of early marriage, and those affected by school dropout situations. With compassion and expertise, Dr. Jothi and the committee work tirelessly to support these girls and help them overcome their challenges. Their aim is to provide a safe and nurturing environment, empower the girls with necessary skills and resources, and ensure their well-being and successful reintegration into society. Driven by a deep commitment to protecting the rights and welfare of these vulnerable girls, Dr. Jothi’s participation in the Child Welfare Committee has been instrumental in making a positive impact on their lives.
