Rural Sanitation Project:

We have built the first ever community toilet in Ayyampalayam specifically for women. It is located on a 1080 sq ft plot of land that we donated, which is worth 7 lakhs. This project was part of our rural sanitation initiative and received assistance from The Associated Country Women of The World (ACWW), who provided a grant of Rs. 4.68 lakhs. The communal toilet is dedicated to serving the public, specifically women, in Ayyampalayam. We are proud to mention that this year, the maintenance of this sanitation complex is being carried out by women Self Help Groups (SHGs), further empowering the local community.

Water Sanitation Hygiene Program

Our organization has been annually organizing an awareness program on WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) for women and children. Notably, on 21st October 2020, NABARD generously extended their support to facilitate the implementation of the program that year. The primary objective of this initiative is to educate the community about essential water, sanitation, and hygiene practices, promoting healthier and more hygienic living conditions for all. Through this program, we aim to create awareness and empower individuals to adopt sustainable practices that contribute to the overall well-being of the community.
