- Rural Sanitation Project:
We have built the first ever community toilet in Ayyampalayam specifically for women. It is located on a 1080 sq ft plot of land that we donated, which is worth 7 lakhs. This project was part of our rural sanitation initiative and received assistance from The Associated Country Women of The World (ACWW), who provided a grant of Rs. 4.68 lakhs in 2009. The communal toilet is dedicated to serving the public in Ayyampalayam. We are proud to mention that this year, the maintenance of this sanitation complex is being carried out by women Self Help Groups (SHGs), further empowering the local community.
