  • S.P. Jothi, managing trustee of Sri Sakthi Trust, has been invited by NGOs, service organizations, and agricultural colleges in other places and states to deliver lectures, training, and demonstrations on watershed management, sustainable agriculture, and environmental conservation.
  • The district administration of Dhamtari district in Chhattisgarh State invited Sri Sakthi Trust to train farmers in soil and water conservation. Training has been provided to approximately 380 farmers from rural areas of Dhamtari district in Chhattisgarh State.
  • The District Development Manager (DDM) of NABARD – Palakkad in Kerala State has invited Sri Sakthi Trust to give a lecture to the local farming community of Palakkad District. Sixty farmers and women group members have attended this program.
  • Sri Sakthi Trust organized a training workshop on soil and water conservation for RVS Agricultural Engineering college students. This program integrated farmers and students, organizing bridging courses for both groups at an analogous event. One hundred sixty-four students and 30 farmers benefited from this program.

  • Dr. S.P. Jothi, the Managing Trustee of Sakthi Trust, has been invited to deliver lectures on water management in various colleges, including Sacred Heart College of Arts and Science in Dindigul, Athi Sunjanagiri Women’s College in Cumbum, Lady Doak College in Madurai, and PSG Tech in Coimbatore.
  • NABARD invited her to provide inputs on farmers’ producer company to the Department of Agriculture, marketing, and agri-business officials.
  • ICAR-CPCRI Kayamkulam invited her for their 75th-year anniversary, where she presented a lecture on activities and promotion of FPO (Farmers Producer Organization) and shared the experience of Ayyampalayam Farmers Producer Company Ltd.
  • Dr. S.P. Jothi attended a radio program on climate-resilient agriculture activities through FPO at Kodai FM in Kodaikanal.
  • We conducted sessions in the FPO training program organized by the Department of Agriculture Marketing and Agri-Business in the districts of Dindigul and Karur.
